# Largest connected group

The largest group of sites in which each can reach every other by following links, as a share of the active sites in the census.

## What it counts

- Largest connected group: The largest strongly connected component of the census graph: from any site in it, every other site in it can be reached by following links in the direction they point.

## What it does not see

- Only links between .za sites in the census count; a path through a site outside .za, or through a page Palo has not crawled, does not.
- The group can include blocked sites, which are in the graph; the share is taken of active sites.

## The latest 30 days

One row per day, newest first, from that day's last analysis (South African time). Where a cell gives a count and a percentage, such as 64,149 (34.2%), the heading says what the percentage is of. An empty cell was not recorded that day. "Counting rules" says whether the day was counted under the rules in use since 11 October 2026 (current) or the earlier ones; the two are not directly comparable.
